
Audi achieved sales of 120,200 automobiles in September, a growth of 17.1 percent compared to 2010 figures, due partly to strong demand from China. According to Audi head of marketing and sales, Peter Schwarzenbauer, they had already equaled their sales record for all of 2010 in China during the first week of October. He added that they want to exceed the 300,000 mark for the first time this year.
